Tree Care Crew Member

Dave's Tree Service is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Groundsman Crew Member. You will play a vital role in our team, working outdoors to maintain and enhance the health and aesthetics of trees within our clients' properties.

Position Details: Year-round, full-time, with unlimited room for advancement. Compensation is dependent on experience and qualifications. After 90 days, members are eligible for disability and life insurance and 7 paid holidays.

Basic Job Duties:

  • Assist in the execution of tree maintenance and removal tasks
  • Assist with clean-up and removal of tree debris
  • Collaborate effectively with crew members
  • Follow all safety guidelines
  • Drive large trucks and pull trailers

Qualifications:

  • Previous tree care experience preferred but not required
  • Team player with willingness to learn
  • Physical fitness for demanding outdoor tasks
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test

Tree Care Crew Foreman

We are in search of a driven and skilled individual to join our team as a Tree Care Crew Foreman. In this role, you will have a significant impact on our team by working outdoors to preserve and enhance the health and appearance of trees on our clients' properties.

Position Details: Year-round, full-time with abundant prospects for career growth. Workdays are Monday through Friday, allowing for quality family time on weekends. Educational opportunities provided. Eligible for disability and life insurance and 7 paid holidays after 90 days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage a crew daily, prioritizing safety
  • Supervise and participate in pruning, felling, and tree removal
  • Maintain communication with sales and office staff
  • Oversee equipment maintenance
  • Provide on-the-job training to crew members
  • Operate aerial lifts, mini skid steers, grapple trucks

Requirements:

  • Proficient in basic tree cutting methods and climbing
  • Knowledge of proper pruning techniques
  • Excellent physical fitness
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must pass drug screening
